Erik Peterson Profiled in Plaintiff Magazine

Erik Peterson, partner at Bostwick & Peterson LLP, is profiled for an article in Plaintiff Magazine.

Plaintiff Magazine wrote a comprehensive profile on Erik Peterson, partner at Bostwick & Peterson LLP, in their April 2022 issue, now posted online here. He discusses his journey to becoming a plaintiffs’ attorney, the influence his law partner Jim Bostwick has had on his career as a medical malpractice lawyer, his most memorable cases and how he’s learned to have a work-life balance.

During his interview with Plaintiff, Erik stresses the importance for lawyers to create a healthy work-life balance and to find a part of their life where they don’t identify as a lawyer.

“I call it life’s guardrails. It’s a very possessive profession, and you can find yourself at times in the middle of a stressful time at work, you can take it home, and it can interfere with your relationships and your health. It takes a while to learn how to do it, but you’ve got to put up guards, just to protect yourself from letting your health decline and letting it run your life. It’s allowed me to be a better lawyer down the road.”

Erik Peterson’s career has brought life changes to the many people he’s represented over the past three decades. His record of success, including several seven-figure and eight-figure results, has ranked him among the top medical malpractice lawyers in the United States. Together with James Bostwick, they have secured countlessrecord-breaking verdicts and settlements for medical malpractice victims in California and across the United States.
